Rosenfeld's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthias W Grubac was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lukas Hutterer in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ortwin Pechmann saved Rübeer from getting behind. Rudolf Harnack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias W Grubac, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Rosenfeld's goal looked a bit too open when Christoph Resch came free, but Rudolf Harnack reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Klemens Schramm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ortwin Pechmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Hutterer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Rübeer booed when Rosenfeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boris Demitter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frieder Mrozewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
