Ephraim Rexhaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ewald Kuckuck having to interfere. Ewald Kuckuck made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Torben Weigelt sent off a good shot on target. 48 minutes into the game, Mika Guenther was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. North Ferriby United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eintracht Frankfurt the free kick. Mika Guenther hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.
