After 7 minutes, Hakon Kinkeldey made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Ostsee 06's Holger Kamin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hakon Kinkeldey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Weßling booed when FC Ostsee 06 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gianni Berosch didn't get a good kick on the ball. From close distance Hakon Kinkeldey pressed in the 2-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 17 minutes into the game. Hermann Vorwerk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Holger Kamin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Weßling's Linus Tadic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torge Quoos in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, FC Ostsee 06's Holger Kamin got control of the ball when Uri Diederich tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torge Quoos in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Linus Tadic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paul Schwaderer struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Holger Kamin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weßling. If Uri Diederich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Holger Kamin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hakon Kinkeldey's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, FC Ostsee 06's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Schwaderer came free, but Holger Kamin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hakon Kinkeldey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Holger Kamin having to make a save. Hermann Vorwerk struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Holger Kamin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Weßling. In the 47th minute, Uri Diederich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hakon Kinkeldey to make the kick off. Holger Kamin came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Weßling's Hakon Kinkeldey. But to his dismay, Hakon Kinkeldey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Linus Tadic was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Meinolf Tremmel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 57 minute of play. Paul Schwaderer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Holger Kamin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Klemens Scharpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ken Morchner's late challenge caught a Weßling's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ken Morchner helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Ostsee 06 getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ken Morchner hit a great ball. Hakon Kinkeldey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Kamin having to interfere. Hermann Vorwerk took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Holger Kamin. Holger Kamin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Torge Quoos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Linus Tadic having to make a save. In the 85th match minute, Weßling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benni Böttcher to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Ostsee 06's Torge Quoos got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Hakon Kinkeldey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Kamin having to interfere. Weßling's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
