Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lukas Hutterer got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Guido Schiller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudolf Harnack saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Boris Demitter fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosenfeld's protests and gave Boris Demitter a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Rosenfeld got a freekick which was hit by Boris Demitter. In the 7th minute, Guido Schiller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Rosenfeld's goalkeeper Rudolf Harnack had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marc Becker. 12 minutes into the game, Rosenfeld's Elmar Appelt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Detleff Suttner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, Nuri Heim threw the ball into play from the sideline. APK's Fabian Kemmler quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 20th minute, Elmar Appelt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Detleff Suttner was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Guido Schiller's late challenge caught a Rosenfeld's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guido Schiller helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rosenfeld booed when APK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Rabiega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marc Becker scored 1-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rudolf Harnack, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rudolf Harnack was a little too slow when Guido Schiller got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 39th minute Elmar Appelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Detleff Suttner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rosenfeld's Rudolf Harnack proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Rosenfeld from getting a goal against them.

After 52 minutes of play, APK's Guido Schiller made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rudolf Harnack was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Guido Schiller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, APK's Marc Becker nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rudolf Harnack made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Rudolf Harnack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc Becker, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Marc Becker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rudolf Harnack tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudolf Harnack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Schiller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Spoden couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the match, APK's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Hutterer came free, but Detleff Suttner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elmar Appelt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. APK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
