Bartholomäus Brink's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Holger Kamin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The Eintracht Frankfurt fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Eintracht Frankfurt's Rodolfo Stiegler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bartholomäus Brink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Holger Kamin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Stiegler in the 41st minute of the match. Holger Kamin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Holger Kamin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Stiegler, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The long shot by Gianni Berosch in the 68th minute really tested Gideon Baltermanns's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Gideon Baltermanns didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Ostsee 06's Torge Quoos shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After 73 minutes of play, Eintracht Frankfurt's Rodolfo Stiegler made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Eintracht Frankfurt players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
