With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guido Schiller in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nick Patrzek saved Elzweiler FSV from getting behind. Kurt Rabiega's late challenge caught a Elzweiler FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kurt Rabiega helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Elzweiler FSV booed when APK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Rabiega didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt Rabiega in the 37th managed to get into a good position. Marc Becker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Nick Patrzek when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 43 minutes into the match, Elzweiler FSV's goalkeeper Nick Patrzek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marc Becker. Thorben Schimpf kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Spike Rüdiger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute, Marc Becker made a precise shot to the right of Nick Patrzek. Elzweiler FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
