Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Raik Beckers made the kick off which started today's match. Raik Beckers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Greeb having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SV Ballers's Veit Gebuhr got a free kick in the 4th minute. Timur Matt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rainer Bellmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 14 minutes, Timur Matt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Ballers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timur Matt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lajos Brütt in the 18th minute of play forced SV Ballers's goalkeeper Guido Greeb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, SV Ballers's goal looked a bit too open when Raik Beckers came free, but Guido Greeb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guido Greeb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lajos Brütt in the 20th minute of play. After some careless play in the SV Ballers defense, Knud Kloppenburg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guido Greeb. The SV Ballers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guido Greeb should have stopped the shot. SV Ballers's Guido Greeb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lajos Brütt in the 34th minute of play. With an all-out effort, SV Ballers's Rainer Bellmann threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Timur Matt, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Neuenheim FC's zone, Hardy Bannert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rainer Bellmann came out of the goal and Hardy Bannert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Timur Matt was the one to do the kick off. Veit Gebuhr hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Neuenheim FC's Gernot Koster ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guido Greeb. Guido Greeb yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Guido Greeb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knud Kloppenburg in the 59th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Neuenheim FC's Guido Greeb threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Raik Beckers, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Neuenheim FC's zone, Ciriaco Freitag stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rainer Bellmann came out of the goal and Ciriaco Freitag tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Timur Matt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ciriaco Freitag came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the SV Ballers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Freitag couldn't finish the play. After 76 minutes of play, SV Ballers's Timur Matt made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rainer Bellmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rainer Bellmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timur Matt went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Rainer Bellmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raoul Spanner in the 85th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, SV Ballers's goalkeeper Guido Greeb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lajos Brütt. In the 90th minute, Raoul Spanner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, SV Ballers's Bernd Hespers seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bernd Hespers the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SV Ballers protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bernd Hespers had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, SV Ballers's Bernd Hespers got a free kick in the 96th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Eduard Siekemeier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neuenheim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduard Siekemeier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guido Greeb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
