Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) SV Ballers's Guido Greeb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hartwig Funke in the 4th minute of play. Egelseeqw's Erland Faigle got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Hardy Bannert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Addi Oldenburg. The goal made the score 1-0. Heiko Bäßler struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Guido Greeb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Egelseeqw. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hartwig Funke in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guido Greeb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guido Greeb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hartwig Funke in the 13th minute of the match. Raoul Spanner hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 17 played minutes Egelseeqw got a freekick which was hit by Evert Küster. 24 minutes into the game, Egelseeqw's Heiko Bäßler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guido Greeb made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. In the 33rd match minute, SV Ballers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raoul Spanner to maneuver through the defense. Erland Faigle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Greeb having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Timur Matt took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Addi Oldenburg to make any attempt to save it. Walter Könemann charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Könemann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute, one of SV Ballers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SV Ballers. Timur Matt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Addi Oldenburg made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timur Matt to make the kick off. Timur Matt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Egelseeqw failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
