To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Germania Haithabu getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Erk Grimm hit a great ball. Ubbo Marschner struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Rainer Bellmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germania Haithabu. Germania Haithabu played a much better game than Neuenheim FC and deserved their victory. The Neuenheim FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
