Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Björn Färber made the kick off which started today's match. The audience was convinced that Ludger Scherpp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Gillen was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolomeo Kollmannsperger during the 8th minute. Michael Gillen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Donny Schui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Färber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Hörsten's Michael Gillen got control of the ball when Markus Ansmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerald Ringelnatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Hörsten's Björn Bauers got a free kick in the 25th minute. Mesut Süss missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 26 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Michael Gillen right hand side. Jan Novak hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Björn Färber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donny Schui having to interfere. If Markus Ansmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ludger Scherpp made a kick off. Donny Schui made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Gerald Ringelnatz sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Björn Färber in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donny Schui saved Hocheck FC from getting behind. In the 55th minute Björn Färber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donny Schui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludger Scherpp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Michael Gillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Ludger Scherpp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hocheck FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludger Scherpp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markus Ansmann in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Gillen saved Hörsten from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Hörsten's Gerald Ringelnatz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Donny Schui. That made the score 1-1 after 67 minutes of play. Hörsten's Michael Gillen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Ansmann in the 71st minute of play. After 73 minutes, Ludger Scherpp made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hörsten's Michael Gillen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Hörsten's Björn Färber in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hocheck FC's goalie prevented a goal. Markus Ansmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Michael Gillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Björn Färber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donny Schui having to interfere. Hocheck FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
