Lothar Schollbach was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Werner Schäuble capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Werner Schäuble really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Fabian Rutkowski hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Fabian Rutkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lothar Schollbach made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Abi Ungerechts sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Stoppenbach booed when Unterliedw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Rutkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Werner Schäuble in the 23rd minute of play forced Unterliedw's goalkeeper Lothar Schollbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stoppenbach's Abi Ungerechts got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lothar Schollbach made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Abi Ungerechts sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 36 minutes, Abi Ungerechts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoppenbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abi Ungerechts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lothar Schollbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Werner Schäuble, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lothar Schollbach was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Werner Schäuble showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 45 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Lothar Schollbach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kai Arbogast in the 59th minute of play. Fabian Rutkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Lothar Schollbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abi Ungerechts in the 65th minute of the match. Elmar Striegler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hossam Groeters having to interfere. Kai Arbogast scored 6-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lothar Schollbach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, Eddi von Scheliha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Unterliedw's Lutz Stammler got a free kick in the 84th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Werner Schäuble managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stoppenbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Werner Schäuble was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
