Arthur Bonew kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Polonia Neu-Ulm's Fabian Schumacher got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Stefano Henrich kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Tommy Ewen hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Ryan Germann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximilian Rückert hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes VFL Bor Borsten got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Bonew. If Stefano Henrich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. VFL Bor Borsten's Piero Mörgenthaler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Germann in the 27th minute of play. Polonia Neu-Ulm's Ryan Germann got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, VFL Bor Borsten's Tommy Ewen got a free kick in the 35th minute. Lucas Rocks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Piero Mörgenthaler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes VFL Bor Borsten got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Bonew. In the 40th match minute, Polonia Neu-Ulm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Huff to maneuver through the defense.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ryan Germann made a kick off. Ryan Germann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stephan Dabrock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rato Popp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the VFL Bor Borsten defense, Ryan Germann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Piero Mörgenthaler. The VFL Bor Borsten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Piero Mörgenthaler should have stopped the shot. Ryan Germann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in VFL Bor Borsten's zone, Ryan Germann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Piero Mörgenthaler came out of the goal and Ryan Germann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th match minute, VFL Bor Borsten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costa Reißig to maneuver through the defense. Ryan Germann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Piero Mörgenthaler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximilian Rückert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Stephan Dabrock made a huge save. Stephan Dabrock showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Bonew in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Polonia Neu-Ulm were the better team. Polonia Neu-Ulm's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
