Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frithjof Stockhausen started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Frithjof Stockhausen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flensburger FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 10 minutes into the game, Hugo Frankenhauser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sange's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flensburger FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sange's Hugo Frankenhauser got a free kick in the 10th minute. Bartholomäus Notz took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduard Hebel. Eduard Hebel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Sange's Joris Bülow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frithjof Stockhausen in the 22nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Flensburger FC's zone, Dieter Kästner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduard Hebel came out of the goal and Dieter Kästner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bartholomäus Notz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Eduard Hebel made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dieter Kästner got free with Eduard Hebel in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dieter Kästner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dieter Kästner to make the kick off. Dieter Kästner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Hebel having to interfere. Dittmar Lehmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Joris Bülow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Dieter Kästner made a precise shot to the right of Eduard Hebel. Flensburger FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Edmund Grotthaus kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Flensburger FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dieter Kästner came free, but Eduard Hebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Sange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieter Kästner to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes Flensburger FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruprecht Jüdt. 74 minutes into the game, Sange's Dieter Kästner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eduard Hebel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Frithjof Stockhausen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Frithjof Stockhausen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard Hebel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieter Kästner in the 84th minute of play. Flensburger FC's Eduard Hebel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieter Kästner in the 90th minute of play. Bartholomäus Notz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduard Hebel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. With a little luck, Sange's Joris Bülow got control of the ball when Elard Böhm tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartholomäus Notz in the 95th minute of play forced Flensburger FC's goalkeeper Eduard Hebel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Flensburger FC's Ruprecht Jüdt got a free kick in the 95th minute.
