Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 159) Utz Weinforth started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Großgöhren's Palle Krahforst slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hartmut Rall. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Großgöhren's Olaf Kreuz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Galiana in the 6th minute of play. Segundo Galiana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olaf Kreuz having to interfere. When Baum's Segundo Galiana in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Großgöhren's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Großgöhren's Thies Knoll got a free kick in the 21st minute. Mats Reinke's late challenge caught a Baum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mats Reinke helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute of the match Segundo Galiana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olaf Kreuz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Großgöhren's zone, Segundo Galiana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olaf Kreuz came out of the goal and Segundo Galiana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 31st minute Palle Krahforst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hartmut Rall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes Baum got a freekick which was hit by Ivica Joisten. With 34 minutes on the clock, Olaf Erbach commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Alexander Tauber hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Segundo Galiana sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Großgöhren's Olaf Kreuz didn't even have to move. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
A collision led to Großgöhren getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Erwin Weiers hit a great ball. Olaf Kreuz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosius Marx in the 53rd minute of play. Thies Knoll kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palle Krahforst in the 56th minute of play forced Baum's goalkeeper Hartmut Rall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segundo Galiana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Olaf Kreuz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Großgöhren's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosius Marx came free, but Olaf Kreuz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Großgöhren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thies Knoll to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palle Krahforst in the 68th minute of play forced Baum's goalkeeper Hartmut Rall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Großgöhren booed when Baum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Galiana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hartmut Rall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thies Knoll in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Utz Weinforth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Großgöhren fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Hartmut Rall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Palle Krahforst in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Großgöhren players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
