Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kowalski's Arvid Burg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Kowalski from getting a goal against them. Arvid Burg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hemmo Bothner's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Siegfried Tassler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 12 minutes, Hemmo Bothner made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Kowalski's Arvid Burg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Kowalski's goalkeeper Arvid Burg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hemmo Bothner. Christen Ruppmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gregor Blieske in the 18th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hemmo Bothner in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arvid Burg saved Kowalski from getting behind. 21 minutes into the match, Küsd's goal looked a bit too open when Gregor Blieske came free, but Christen Ruppmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palle Strohm was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, one of Küsd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Kowalski's Fabian Baur suffered a sore thigh after 31 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Hemmo Bothner charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hemmo Bothner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gregor Blieske succeeded in the game's 34th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Jens Dugnus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 minutes, Manfred Schillinger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kowalski and the Küsd players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 played minutes Kowalski got a freekick which was hit by Manfred Schillinger. When Jens Dugnus came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Küsd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens Dugnus couldn't finish the play. After having played for 43 minutes, Aristide Apostel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Küsd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristide Apostel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siegfried Tassler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Küsd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kowalski were winning 1-2.

Jens Dugnus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Arvid Burg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jens Dugnus's late challenge caught a Kowalski's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jens Dugnus helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Küsd's Jens Dugnus got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Siegfried Tassler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Arvid Burg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Siegfried Tassler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Küsd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Menge in the 78th minute of play forced Kowalski's goalkeeper Arvid Burg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arvid Burg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristide Apostel, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Thilo Pitten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christen Ruppmann having to interfere.
