Spectators: 6840 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aureliano Santa Cruz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bruno Gapp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adi Butenweg in the 3rd minute of the match. SV Blumen Osterfeld's attentive David Schmelzer managed to snatch the ball when Hein Hammerschmitt made a throw-in in the 8th minute of the game. Arno Melzer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Ambrock booed when SV Blumen Osterfeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristian Körth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SV Blumen Osterfeld's zone, Matthias Blecken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Gapp came out of the goal and Matthias Blecken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute, Arno Melzer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SV Blumen Osterfeld fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 23 played minutes SV Blumen Osterfeld got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Körth. After having played for 24 minutes, Matthias Blecken managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ambrock's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Blecken was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of SV Blumen Osterfeld booed when Ambrock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adi Butenweg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Conni Berlepp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arno Melzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. When Tobias Mayer fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ambrock's protests and gave Tobias Mayer a yellow card for diving instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arno Melzer to make the kick off. Bruno Gapp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Santa Cruz's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 62nd minute, Aureliano Santa Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute of the game Werner Schick made a throw-in which Hein Hammerschmitt played forward. After 71 played minutes SV Blumen Osterfeld got a freekick which was hit by David Schmelzer. Bruno Gapp was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Aureliano Santa Cruz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aureliano Santa Cruz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Bruno Gapp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Santa Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Bruno Gapp successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to SV Blumen Osterfeld getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. David Schmelzer hit a great ball. Aureliano Santa Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aureliano Santa Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aureliano Santa Cruz hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes SV Blumen Osterfeld got a freekick which was hit by David Schmelzer. Adi Butenweg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 87th playminute. Bruno Gapp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adi Butenweg in the 90th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see SV Blumen Osterfeld lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
