If Jo Körper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Linus Mattern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niccolo Kappestein having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Béla Deck was the one to do the kick off. Hansel Golz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abbe Schön in the 55th minute of play. Roland Wehn charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roland Wehn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Petrolul's Roland Wehn got a free kick in the 59th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Petrolul:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of 1. FC Schulberg:s goal. The referee gave 1. FC Schulberg a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abbe Schön, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Petrolul's Hansel Golz. 0-1.
