Hermann Wilhelmsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregor Kolber in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute of the match, Stan Berger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dimitrios Møller saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. sad's Lutz Kerschbaumer got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 20 minutes into the match, Schechen's goal looked a bit too open when Bolko Kalleder came free, but Dimitrios Møller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Schechen's Raoul Loewenheim got a free kick in the 28th minute. Schechen's Dimitrios Møller proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Schechen from getting a goal against them. Stan Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitrios Møller having to interfere. A hard shot 35 in the game by Bolko Kalleder from a close distance when the talented Dimitrios Møller managed to make a qualified save. Schechen's players were relieved. If Bolko Kalleder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stan Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermann Wilhelmsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julius Ulbricht in the 41st minute of the match. Julius Ulbricht fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermann Wilhelmsen having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dieter Jagow stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bolko Kalleder hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the game, Julius Ulbricht cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hermann Wilhelmsen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raoul Loewenheim kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the game, one of Schechen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave sad a penalty, 63 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bolko Kalleder, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Schechen's Dimitrios Møller. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bert Kruck during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes Schechen got a freekick which was hit by Bert Kruck. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Gliesche in the 68th minute of play forced Schechen's goalkeeper Dimitrios Møller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, sad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastian Wiederhold to maneuver through the defense. When Stan Berger came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the sad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stan Berger couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, sad's goalkeeper Hermann Wilhelmsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dieter Jagow. In the 80th minute, Bastian Wiederhold hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Lutz Kerschbaumer managed to get in a good position for a shot. sad's supporters rose to their feet, but Lutz Kerschbaumer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitrios Møller breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bolko Kalleder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dimitrios Møller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Stan Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raoul Loewenheim charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raoul Loewenheim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of sad booed when Schechen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raoul Loewenheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the game, Dieter Jagow lined in a short shot 2-3 behind a frustrated Hermann Wilhelmsen. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Schechen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
