Eitel Scharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caspar Zander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eitel Scharpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Crispin Trame, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Eitel Scharpe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 28th minute, Tim Deligöz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Schamberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Möllring during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Göppersdorf FC got a freekick which was hit by Hector Möllring. Göppersdorf FC's Eitel Scharpe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Göppersdorf FC from getting a goal against them. Herbert Giebenrath's late challenge caught a FC Hinterfindmichnicht's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Caspar Zander came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the FC Hinterfindmichnicht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caspar Zander couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Stefan Bombis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Hinterfindmichnicht fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Stefan Bombis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stefan Bombis in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eitel Scharpe saved Göppersdorf FC from getting behind. Ronnie Bombard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Guido Schamberg made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Stefan Bombis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Hinterfindmichnicht's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Bombis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eitel Scharpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The FC Hinterfindmichnicht fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when FC Hinterfindmichnicht's Stefan Bombis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caspar Zander in the 86th minute of play forced Göppersdorf FC's goalkeeper Eitel Scharpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Göppersdorf FC booed when FC Hinterfindmichnicht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dietrich Lang didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Hinterfindmichnicht's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
