Spectators: 6836 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1836, VIP seats: 0) Béla Deck made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Petrolul's goalkeeper Hansel Golz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12thth minute of the game Arno Melzer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Petrolul's Hansel Golz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Petrolul's Lester Aumann got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Arno Melzer made a precise shot to the right of Hansel Golz. Petrolul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Petrolul's goal looked a bit too open when Arno Melzer came free, but Hansel Golz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SV Blumen Osterfeld's Ralph Grübel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roland Wehn, made in the 28th minute of the game. Hansel Golz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arno Melzer in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Béla Deck notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SV Blumen Osterfeld's Bruno Gapp. Bruno Gapp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When SV Blumen Osterfeld's Arno Melzer in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Bruno Gapp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arno Melzer to make the kick off. Arno Melzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Hansel Golz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 played minutes SV Blumen Osterfeld got a freekick which was hit by Kristian Körth. Petrolul's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastian Selle in the 60th minute. Petrolul's Sebastian Selle was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bruno Gapp in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jo Körper hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Petrolul's Hansel Golz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Huff in the 72nd minute of play. Arno Melzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Hansel Golz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petrolul's Hansel Golz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Melzer in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Béla Deck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Petrolul's supporters rose to their feet, but Béla Deck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Gapp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Christoph Rampe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hansel Golz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arno Melzer in the 88th minute of the match. After some careless play in the SV Blumen Osterfeld defense, Linus Mattern kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Gapp. The SV Blumen Osterfeld fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Gapp should have stopped the shot. After 94 played minutes SV Blumen Osterfeld got a freekick which was hit by Arno Melzer. The Petrolul players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
