The crowd rose to their feet as Stan Berger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conni Berlepp. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ambrock's goalkeeper Conni Berlepp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lutz Kerschbaumer might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Conni Berlepp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lutz Kerschbaumer ran back to his position shaking his head. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliano Santa Cruz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Bolko Kalleder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conni Berlepp was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Bolko Kalleder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 69 minutes, Meikel Heynemann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ambrock and the sad players grew even worse after the yellow card. Conni Berlepp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bolko Kalleder in the 88th minute of play. After some careless play in the Ambrock defense, Lutz Kerschbaumer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conni Berlepp. The Ambrock fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conni Berlepp should have stopped the shot. sad's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
