Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Göppersdorf FC's Tim Deligöz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gunther Schaub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Deligöz in the 5th minute of the match. Hector Möllring kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Sandor Bergsohn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ludwigsburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandor Bergsohn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eitel Scharpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Göppersdorf FC's goalkeeper Eitel Scharpe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eitel Scharpe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandor Bergsohn in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Holger Reinauer in the 13th minute of play forced Ludwigsburg's goalkeeper Gunther Schaub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eitel Scharpe was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Günter Clemens capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Günter Clemens really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Ludwigsburg's Gunther Schaub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Deligöz in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Karsten Scheepers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gunther Schaub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Deligöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Ronnie Bombard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eitel Scharpe came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Ludwigsburg's Günter Clemens. But to his dismay, Günter Clemens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Ludwigsburg's attentive Karsten Scheepers managed to snatch the ball when Johannes Gronow made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. When Ludwigsburg's Sandor Bergsohn in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Göppersdorf FC's goalie prevented a goal. Günter Clemens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Eitel Scharpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandor Bergsohn in the 47th minute of play forced Göppersdorf FC's goalkeeper Eitel Scharpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Sandor Bergsohn made the kick off in the second half. Gunther Schaub made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Ronnie Bombard sent off a good shot on target. Sandor Bergsohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Eitel Scharpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lukas Britz fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ludwigsburg's protests and gave Lukas Britz a yellow card for diving instead. Lukas Britz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Oliver Runge sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ludwigsburg's Gunther Schaub didn't even have to move. In the 58th minute, Gianluca Klump hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Günter Clemens in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eitel Scharpe saved Göppersdorf FC from getting behind. Freerk Hommertgen hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute of the game, Thomas Reich landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hannes Göring during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ludwigsburg's Hannes Göring got a free kick in the 71st minute. Ronnie Bombard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Gunther Schaub made a huge save. Gunther Schaub made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Ronnie Bombard sent off a good shot on target. Karsten Scheepers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Eitel Scharpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eitel Scharpe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Günter Clemens's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Göppersdorf FC's Eitel Scharpe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinand Köpke in the 83rd minute of play. 89 minutes into the game, Ludwigsburg's Karsten Scheepers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eitel Scharpe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. When the referee ended the match the Ludwigsburg players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
