Carsten Morek charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carsten Morek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Schechen's Dimitrios Møller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnie Bombard in the 13th minute of play. After some careless play in the Schechen defense, Tim Deligöz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitrios Møller. The Schechen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitrios Møller should have stopped the shot. Raoul Loewenheim's late challenge caught a Göppersdorf FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raoul Loewenheim helped the player get up and apologised. Dieter Jagow in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eitel Scharpe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 28th minute, Dieter Jagow fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Eitel Scharpe. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Schechen's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. After 33 minutes of play, Göppersdorf FC's Tim Deligöz made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitrios Møller was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Gregor Kolber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 39 played minutes, Göppersdorf FC's Herbert Giebenrath shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dimitrios Møller came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Göppersdorf FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnie Bombard in the 42nd minute of play forced Schechen's goalkeeper Dimitrios Møller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dieter Jagow was the one to do the kick off. Dieter Jagow blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eitel Scharpe having to make a save. 60 minutes into the match, Gregor Kolber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eitel Scharpe. Göppersdorf FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gregor Kolber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Tim Deligöz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Dimitrios Møller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitrios Møller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Deligöz in the 71st minute of the match. Dimitrios Møller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Deligöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Eitel Scharpe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raoul Loewenheim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Schechen's Raoul Loewenheim got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Raoul Loewenheim off the ground. The supporters of Göppersdorf FC booed when Schechen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raoul Loewenheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronnie Bombard came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dimitrios Møller could save by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Göppersdorf FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
