Hansel Golz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bastian Wiederhold in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Petrolul's goal looked a bit too open when Bolko Kalleder came free, but Hansel Golz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bolko Kalleder got free with Hansel Golz in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match, Petrolul's goal looked a bit too open when Stan Berger came free, but Hansel Golz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
