Conni Berlepp was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 8 minutes, Gregor Kolber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schechen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregor Kolber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Ambrock booed when Schechen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albo Waddey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adi Butenweg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Dimitrios Møller tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Santa Cruz in the 13th minute of play forced Schechen's goalkeeper Dimitrios Møller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Werner Schick charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Werner Schick the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Schechen got a freekick which was hit by Drees Kästner. 21 minutes into the match, Schechen's goalkeeper Dimitrios Møller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adi Butenweg. Conni Berlepp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Schechen getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Julius Ulbricht hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Ambrock defense, Gregor Kolber kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conni Berlepp. The Ambrock fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conni Berlepp should have stopped the shot. Ambrock's Adi Butenweg got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd match minute, Schechen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carsten Morek to maneuver through the defense.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dieter Jagow to make the kick off. When Ambrock's Adi Butenweg in 53 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Dimitrios Møller guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Aureliano Santa Cruz scored 1-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimitrios Møller, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Matthias Blecken hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ambrock getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tobias Mayer hit a great ball. Schechen's Julius Ulbricht got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ambrock's goalkeeper Conni Berlepp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Julius Ulbricht managed to get in a good position for a shot. Schechen's supporters rose to their feet, but Julius Ulbricht was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conni Berlepp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gregor Kolber received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Conni Berlepp came out and tried to block the shot, but Gregor Kolber slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 89th minute. Schechen played a much better game than Ambrock and deserved their victory. The Ambrock players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
