Adi Butenweg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tim Deligöz hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes, Freerk Hommertgen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Göppersdorf FC and the Ambrock players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ambrock's goalkeeper Conni Berlepp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Meikel Heynemann kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Tobias Mayer might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eitel Scharpe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobias Mayer ran back to his position shaking his head. If Aureliano Santa Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 40th minute, Ronnie Bombard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Göppersdorf FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tim Deligöz to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnie Bombard in the 52nd minute of play forced Ambrock's goalkeeper Conni Berlepp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Ambrock's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Deligöz came free, but Conni Berlepp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrock's Conni Berlepp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnie Bombard in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Deligöz in the 57th minute of play forced Ambrock's goalkeeper Conni Berlepp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Tim Deligöz in the 60th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, Ambrock's Meikel Heynemann got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Göppersdorf FC's Matti Hofmeister got a free kick in the 64th minute. Aureliano Santa Cruz struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Eitel Scharpe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ambrock. Ronnie Bombard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tim Deligöz in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conni Berlepp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Hein Hammerschmitt fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ambrock's protests and gave Hein Hammerschmitt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Hein Hammerschmitt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Conni Berlepp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Deligöz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After having played for 78 minutes, Tim Deligöz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Göppersdorf FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tim Deligöz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conni Berlepp came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Göppersdorf FC's Tim Deligöz. But to his dismay, Tim Deligöz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Eitel Scharpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Santa Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Aureliano Santa Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eitel Scharpe having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Aureliano Santa Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eitel Scharpe was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. The supporters of Göppersdorf FC booed when Ambrock was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Mattes didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Göppersdorf FC were the better team. Göppersdorf FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
