Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arno Melzer made the kick off and thus started the match. Adi Butenweg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Bruno Gapp made a huge save. Arno Melzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Conni Berlepp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Saul Huff's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conni Berlepp was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Hein Hammerschmitt made in the 12th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SV Blumen Osterfeld's David Schmelzer. After a rather tough play, Ambrock's Benjamin Mattes got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 22 minutes, Arno Melzer made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Ambrock's Conni Berlepp tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Benjamin Mattes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ambrock's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SV Blumen Osterfeld the free kick. A collision led to Ambrock getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Benjamin Mattes hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Arno Melzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conni Berlepp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, SV Blumen Osterfeld was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralph Grübel to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ambrock's Benjamin Mattes got a free kick in the 31st minute. Bruno Gapp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Meikel Heynemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Björn Gondro took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conni Berlepp. Conni Berlepp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arno Melzer in the 43rd minute of play forced Ambrock's goalkeeper Conni Berlepp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliano Santa Cruz was the one to do the kick off. Conni Berlepp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arno Melzer in the 52nd minute of the match. Saul Huff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conni Berlepp having to interfere. Bruno Gapp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adi Butenweg in the 62nd minute of play. SV Blumen Osterfeld's Saul Huff got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When SV Blumen Osterfeld's Arno Melzer in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ambrock's goalie prevented a goal. After 70 minutes, Arno Melzer made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Ambrock's Conni Berlepp tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Ambrock's goal looked a bit too open when Arno Melzer came free, but Conni Berlepp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arno Melzer came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the SV Blumen Osterfeld fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arno Melzer couldn't finish the play. When Benjamin Mattes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Ambrock's Benjamin Mattes got a free kick in the 86th minute. If Saul Huff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hein Hammerschmitt charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hein Hammerschmitt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Ambrock got a freekick which was hit by Hein Hammerschmitt. If Björn Gondro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over SV Blumen Osterfeld could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ambrock throughout the match.
