Spectators: 8006 (Terracing: 6006, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Heini Plath started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gordon Abermüller during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gordon Abermüller hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Ralf Dülfer in the 13th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Markus Vollmann's left hand side. The supporters of Hülkenbüll FC booed when Gönnjamin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pit Theiss didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heini Plath in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Markus Vollmann saved Hülkenbüll FC from getting behind. Heini Plath sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Kliesch in the 24th minute of play forced Hülkenbüll FC's goalkeeper Markus Vollmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Gönnjamin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Willibald Gabler came free, but Hernan Boskamp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heini Plath in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markus Vollmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adé Hinz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Vollmann having to interfere. Gönnjamin FC's Heini Plath was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Willibald Gabler struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Hernan Boskamp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hülkenbüll FC. In the 36th minute Simon Ebbing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Boskamp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olaf Wegl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hernan Boskamp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olaf Wegl in the 55th minute of play. In the 64th minute, Iker Kliesch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Hülkenbüll FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iker Kliesch came free, but Markus Vollmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Perry Hertel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Boskamp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olaf Wegl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Ralf Dülfer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gönnjamin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hülkenbüll FC the free kick. A collision led to Gönnjamin FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ralf Dülfer hit a great ball. When Gönnjamin FC's Heini Plath in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hülkenbüll FC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Hülkenbüll FC's Willibald Gabler slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hernan Boskamp. That made the score 1-2 after 84 minutes of play. In the 88th minute Iker Kliesch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Vollmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heini Plath in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Markus Vollmann saved Hülkenbüll FC from getting behind. Markus Vollmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heini Plath in the 90th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match Tobias Rehmet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Markus Vollmann skillfully saved the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Hülkenbüll FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Gönnjamin FC side.
