The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Esra Keßler got free with Manuel Büssinger in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FSV Lanzenhausen booed when FC Nenndorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Brandmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FSV Lanzenhausen's Harm Betzweiler got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Beat Kreisinger struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Franz Jungbauer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FSV Lanzenhausen. 29 minutes into the match, FSV Lanzenhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Uno Arielsen came free, but Manuel Büssinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Max Kilders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franz Jungbauer having to interfere. Franz Jungbauer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edzard Berens, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, FSV Lanzenhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Uno Arielsen came free, but Manuel Büssinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edzard Berens in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Franz Jungbauer saved FC Nenndorf from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uno Arielsen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes FC Nenndorf got a freekick which was hit by Marko Sauter. Esra Keßler kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Esra Keßler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Büssinger having to interfere. If Thaddäus Dettmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the match, FSV Lanzenhausen's goal looked a bit too open when Thaddäus Dettmann came free, but Manuel Büssinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edzard Berens's late challenge caught a FC Nenndorf's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edzard Berens helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FSV Lanzenhausen's Edzard Berens got a free kick in the 90th minute. FC Nenndorf walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
