Spectators: 8087 (Terracing: 6066, Seating: 1860, VIP seats: 161) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Heini Plath started the match with the kick off. Gero Lehn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute, Timo Wohl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pit Theiss charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pit Theiss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Suhl booed when Gönnjamin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pit Theiss didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gero Lehn came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the FC Suhl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gero Lehn couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Gönnjamin FC's Eugen Zachariassen threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Heini Plath, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gero Lehn took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hernan Boskamp. Hernan Boskamp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gönnjamin FC's goalkeeper Hernan Boskamp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Gero Lehn came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the FC Suhl fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gero Lehn couldn't finish the play. Hernan Boskamp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gero Lehn went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Eugen Zachariassen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Kliesch, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timo Wohl in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hernan Boskamp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hernan Boskamp didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Suhl's Gero Lehn shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. Hernan Boskamp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Wohl in the 39th minute of play. Heini Plath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Zachariassen having to interfere. Timo Wohl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half FC Suhl were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gero Lehn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Boskamp having to interfere. Gönnjamin FC's Pit Theiss got his second yellow card of the match in the 63rd minute. The referee ordered Pit Theiss off the ground. Hernan Boskamp came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Suhl's Timo Wohl. But to his dismay, Timo Wohl quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 72 minutes into the match, Gönnjamin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gero Lehn came free, but Hernan Boskamp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Timo Wohl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 minutes, Timo Wohl made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Gönnjamin FC's Hernan Boskamp tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Suhl's Cristian Lluterio was substituted for Karl-Ove Sundberg. A collision led to Gönnjamin FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ralf Dülfer hit a great ball. FC Suhl made a substitution. Philip Amsoneit replaced Gero Lehn. In the 86th minute, Philip Amsoneit got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Amsoneit in the 88th minute of play forced Gönnjamin FC's goalkeeper Hernan Boskamp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philip Amsoneit received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hernan Boskamp came out and tried to block the shot, but Philip Amsoneit slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Suhl eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
