Mäusekicker's Herbert Nonte quite brazenly broke a throw-in by André Hartmann, made in the 3rd minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Waldemar Zbikowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunnar Rösler was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. If Roland Schiavi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Mäusekicker's Friedrich Volz got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 12 minutes, Martin Fränkel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mäusekicker and the FC Bayern München players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute FC Bayern München were awarded a corner. André Hartmann went to the cornerflag to take it. Jens Lux was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 22nd play minutes Waldemar Zbikowski shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Gunnar Rösler and just under the crossbar into goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roland Schiavi got free with Gunnar Rösler in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Yann Detjen fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mäusekicker's protests and gave Yann Detjen a yellow card for diving instead. Yann Detjen kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bayern München's goalkeeper Mugurel Postelnicu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gunnar Rösler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldemar Zbikowski's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. FC Bayern München's Arvid Obert got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Mäusekicker's goalkeeper Gunnar Rösler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roland Schiavi. Mäusekicker's Guntram Raab quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hergen Schwartau, made in the 45th minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Pathe made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Waldemar Zbikowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Bayern München fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 57th minute, Waldemar Zbikowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gunnar Rösler was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Mads Kollar's late challenge caught a FC Bayern München's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mads Kollar helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Mäusekicker! When Hannes Wunderlich came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Mäusekicker fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hannes Wunderlich couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute of the match André Hartmann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gunnar Rösler skillfully saved the ball. In the 90th minute, Yann Detjen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hannes Wunderlich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldemar Zbikowski in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gunnar Rösler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Eddy Mumme came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the FC Bayern München fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eddy Mumme couldn't finish the play. FC Bayern München were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mäusekicker for a fine match.
