Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Statham 96's Franz Kilz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eischeid's Christian Quinkert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murat Hoffmeier in the 3rd minute of play. Dieter Euschen scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Quinkert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Hansi Gäbelein fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eischeid's protests and gave Hansi Gäbelein a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Eischeid's Hansi Gäbelein got a free kick in the 10th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Franz Kilz in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Quinkert saved Eischeid from getting behind. FC Statham 96's Augustin Schneider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Taube in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Boubacar Häusling recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Augustin Schneider. Boubacar Häusling showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dieter Euschen during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th minute, Dieter Euschen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 19 minutes, Murat Hoffmeier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Statham 96's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murat Hoffmeier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Murat Hoffmeier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 23 minutes into the match, FC Statham 96's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Reiss came free, but Augustin Schneider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augustin Schneider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Reiss in the 26th minute of play. Clint Neuendorf kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Eischeid's Eugen Jucknischke shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Augustin Schneider but with some difficulty. With a little luck, FC Statham 96's Augustin Schneider got control of the ball when Boubacar Häusling tried to sneak it across the goal line. The FC Statham 96 fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when FC Statham 96's Murat Hoffmeier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 34 played minutes FC Statham 96 got a freekick which was hit by Dieter Euschen. When Roberto Cengiz fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Statham 96's protests and gave Roberto Cengiz a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of FC Statham 96:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Eischeid:s goal. Dieter Euschen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Quinkert having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Erling Taube hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eischeid's Marco Reiss got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augustin Schneider made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Boubacar Häusling sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Marco Reiss made the kick off in the second half. Marco Reiss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 played minutes Eischeid got a freekick which was hit by Erling Taube. The supporters of FC Statham 96 booed when Eischeid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukas Pieth didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugen Jucknischke during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Murat Hoffmeier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Quinkert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieter Euschen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Patzelt hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute, Marco Reiss left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eischeid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. FC Statham 96's Murat Hoffmeier got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Eischeid getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Lukas Pieth hit a great ball. Dieter Euschen might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Quinkert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dieter Euschen ran back to his position shaking his head. Murat Hoffmeier's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Christian Quinkert firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC Statham 96's Augustin Schneider played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Taube in the 82nd minute of play. Augustin Schneider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Pieth in the 93rd minute of play. Franz Kilz struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Christian Quinkert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Statham 96. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Statham 96 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Eischeid.
