The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for August Lautwein to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Konstantin Knispel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eppo Czwenk was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. In the 97th minute, Konstantin Knispel made a precise shot to the right of Eppo Czwenk. Kerpen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. WenigeAaberVerrückt succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Kerpen had controlled the match.
