Johann Ansmann hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Hanno Hampen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hanno Hampen took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Beushausen. Ali Beushausen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Moritz Schöll made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Speedstars's Uwe Diederich. After a rather tough play, Speedstars's Niklas Lanier got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Johann Ansmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hanno Hampen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Beushausen having to interfere. Ali Beushausen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Strasbach in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Kerpen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bertil Hirt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Hanno Hampen made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Bertil Hirt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Eppo Czwenk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hanno Hampen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ali Beushausen having to make a save. Hanno Hampen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ali Beushausen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Hanno Hampen made a precise shot to the right of Ali Beushausen. Speedstars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Kai Kump kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Joscha Kienast fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Beushausen having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Speedstars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kai Kump to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as David Strasbach kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ali Beushausen. That made the score 1-3 in the 76 minute of play. Ali Beushausen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hanno Hampen in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Speedstars's Johann Ansmann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eppo Czwenk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Bertil Hirt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Eppo Czwenk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uwe Diederich hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Eppo Czwenk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johann Ansmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
