Markus Hofmeier started the match with the kick off. A collision led to KSC-Allstars getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Albert Kläser hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markus Hofmeier in the 3rd minute of play forced KSC-Allstars's goalkeeper Esra Seyler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esra Seyler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Klause went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Johannes Schlimm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jörg Wengle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Axel Akbulut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Gunter Heil made a precise shot to the right of Jörg Wengle. Wüllenrath's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Davor Ammann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jörg Wengle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunter Heil in the 22nd minute of play. Esra Seyler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Angelo Klause went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 27 minutes into the match, Johannes Schlimm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jörg Wengle. Wüllenrath's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Johannes Schlimm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Markus Hofmeier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Esra Seyler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, KSC-Allstars's Jörg Wengle threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gunter Heil, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jörg Wengle made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Johannes Schlimm sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute of the match Karl Steinkogler shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jörg Wengle showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 43 minutes in the game, Gunter Heil fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jörg Wengle having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Schlimm got free with Jörg Wengle in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esra Seyler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markus Hofmeier in the 48th minute of the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gunter Heil to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes of play, KSC-Allstars's Gunter Heil made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörg Wengle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jörg Wengle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johannes Schlimm went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Wüllenrath booed when KSC-Allstars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinédine Hoch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Schlimm took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörg Wengle. Jörg Wengle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. A collision led to KSC-Allstars getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Zinédine Hoch hit a great ball. Esra Seyler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davor Ammann in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute Gunter Heil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörg Wengle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Norman Blomme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jörg Wengle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Schlimm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Markus Hofmeier came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Wüllenrath fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markus Hofmeier couldn't finish the play. Jörg Wengle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinhard Dutzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Reinhard Dutzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. KSC-Allstars's supporters rose to their feet, but Reinhard Dutzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörg Wengle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jörg Wengle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Schlimm in the 85th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Zinédine Hoch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KSC-Allstars and the Wüllenrath players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, KSC-Allstars's Zinédine Hoch got a free kick in the 88th minute. Esra Seyler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Klause in the 94th minute. Jörg Wengle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Schlimm in the 95th minute of play. With a little luck, KSC-Allstars's Esra Seyler got control of the ball when Markus Hofmeier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wüllenrath's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
