Spectators: 8135 (Terracing: 6102, Seating: 1871, VIP seats: 162) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Caspar Cabada started the match with the kick off. Eckhard Girrbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Meier having to interfere. Gabriel Meier was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Friedemann Burkert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Caspar Cabada had several of the FC Niceguys's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Gabriel Meier as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 23rd match minute, FC Niceguys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Kirchner to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC Niceguys's Gabriel Meier got control of the ball when Eckhard Girrbach tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel Meier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Friedemann Burkert in the 35th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, FC Donautal's Luiz Paulo Saraiva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabriel Meier. Gabriel Meier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 42nd minute Caspar Cabada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Meier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When FC Niceguys's Michael Holst in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Donautal's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustel Sänger to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustel Sänger in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Donautal's goalkeeper Matthew Hildebrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute of the match FC Niceguys got a corner. FC Donautal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michael Holst ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Donautal's goalkeeper Matthew Hildebrand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Michael Holst kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Matthew Hildebrand. That made the score 3-1 in the 56 minute of play. When Eckhard Girrbach fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Donautal's protests and gave Eckhard Girrbach a yellow card for diving instead. Arnim Irmscher kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. If Gustel Sänger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Gustel Sänger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matthew Hildebrand. The goal made the score 3-2. Gabriel Meier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eckhard Girrbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Gerrit Michalke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthew Hildebrand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Holst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Matthew Hildebrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 played minutes FC Donautal got a freekick which was hit by Friedemann Burkert. A collision led to FC Donautal getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Caspar Cabada hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Bellmann during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Panagiotis Vrisimitzakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Meier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th match minute, FC Niceguys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Kirchner to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match Louis Volkmer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Meier skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Gustel Sänger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Niceguys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustel Sänger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wit Olender hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. In the 93rd match minute, FC Niceguys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustel Sänger to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Niceguys players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Donautal.
