Thorsten Feller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Arne Hormes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute, Harald Ziegler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Livio Göger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hasso Klenk, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Harald Ziegler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Livio Göger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 38th minute, Arne Hormes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Livio Göger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Livio Göger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Ziegler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Arne Hormes fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Neubeckum's protests and gave Arne Hormes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Arne Hormes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charles Voland was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rodenhof FSV's Arvid Butenweg got a free kick in the 51st minute. Livio Göger was a little too slow when Harald Ziegler got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Hormes in the 70th minute of play forced Rodenhof FSV's goalkeeper Livio Göger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harald Ziegler struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Livio Göger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Neubeckum. If Charles Voland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Harald Ziegler kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Livio Göger. That made the score 0-5 in the 78 minute of play. Livio Göger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Hormes, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Gereon Dingels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mark Zimmermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over SV Neubeckum could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rodenhof FSV throughout the match.
