In the 14th minute Fred Krotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiko Sudhoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jockel Bassen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Heiko Sudhoff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Krotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

OFK Bratstvo's Ayman Klopp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jockel Bassen in the 77th minute of play. Heiko Sudhoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Krotz in the 80th minute of the match. OFK Bratstvo's Ayman Klopp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jockel Bassen in the 81st minute of play. Burgstaaken FC's Heiko Sudhoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Krotz in the 90th minute of play. Burgstaaken FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because OFK Bratstvo had won, even though Burgstaaken FC had held more of the ball.
