The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingolf Frei got free with Ortwin Kronenberg in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oberluhe's goalkeeper Ortwin Kronenberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th of the match, Calvin Töpfer tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Ortwin Kronenberg got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 27th minute, Tim Anzengruber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. August Hemmerlein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Augenthaler in the 36th minute of play. Joseph Augenthaler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without August Hemmerlein having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joseph Augenthaler was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Raphael Dohmen from a close distance when the talented August Hemmerlein managed to make a qualified save. Süderheidetal FC's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Ingolf Frei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Süderheidetal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingolf Frei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ortwin Kronenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raphael Dohmen succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 59th playminute. August Hemmerlein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Joseph Augenthaler reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of August Hemmerlein. The goal made the score 1-3. 83 minutes into the game, Joseph Augenthaler lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated August Hemmerlein. Raphael Dohmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. August Hemmerlein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oberluhe's Joseph Augenthaler got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Oberluhe left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Süderheidetal FC.
