Ottrau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FSV Leiferde 05 the free kick. Adam Diergardt kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Morgan Hensel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Markus Hundt's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulko Pressel in the 19th minute of play forced FSV Leiferde 05's goalkeeper Sam Habel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes, Markus Hundt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FSV Leiferde 05 and the Ottrau players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th match minute, FSV Leiferde 05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Hundt to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, FSV Leiferde 05's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Holthuis came free, but Sam Habel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markus Hundt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Hensel having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Fulko Pressel made a precise shot to the right of Sam Habel. FSV Leiferde 05's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 31st minute Fulko Pressel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Habel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Morgan Hensel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Hundt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 42 minutes, York Reckmaier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FSV Leiferde 05's supporters crossed their fingers, but York Reckmaier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Ottrau's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Hundt came free, but Morgan Hensel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Markus Hundt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Markus Hundt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Morgan Hensel having to make a save. Markus Hundt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Morgan Hensel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernst Holthuis kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Fulko Pressel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sam Habel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. York Reckmaier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Morgan Hensel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FSV Leiferde 05's Marcello Jannasch got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Erwin Endrikat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. York Reckmaier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Marcello Jannasch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Markus Hundt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Morgan Hensel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Ottrau's zone, York Reckmaier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Morgan Hensel came out of the goal and York Reckmaier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FSV Leiferde 05's York Reckmaier got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Gerrit Vandreier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the match, FSV Leiferde 05's Markus Hundt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Morgan Hensel narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
