Klaudius Neuber hit a great ball. After 11 played minutes Grüna got a freekick which was hit by Marco Wannemaker. Hans Ackermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Bernd Neuss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, FC Black Sea 61 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Stober to maneuver through the defense. Jürgen Kronenberg in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gunnar Tiggelkamp, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arne Vollander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vlad Mang kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Jürgen Kronenberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Gunnar Tiggelkamp made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Jürgen Kronenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gunnar Tiggelkamp was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Arne Vollander scored 2-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gunnar Tiggelkamp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 35 minutes, Gavin Jantz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jürgen Kronenberg in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunnar Tiggelkamp saved Grüna from getting behind. Jürgen Kronenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Tiggelkamp having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Klaudius Neuber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birk Kreuzer to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Hans Ackermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grüna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Ackermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gunnar Tiggelkamp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jürgen Kronenberg in the 58th minute of the match. FC Black Sea 61's Bernd Neuss proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save FC Black Sea 61 from getting a goal against them. Bernd Neuss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Wannemaker, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Gunnar Tiggelkamp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Vollander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Grüna's goal looked a bit too open when Jürgen Kronenberg came free, but Gunnar Tiggelkamp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernd Neuss made an important save on a dangerous shot by Birk Kreuzer in the 67th minute. Klement Bästlein charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Jürgen Kronenberg came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the FC Black Sea 61 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jürgen Kronenberg couldn't finish the play. After 74 minutes of play, FC Black Sea 61's Jürgen Kronenberg made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gunnar Tiggelkamp was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Grüna booed when FC Black Sea 61 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavin Jantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Vollander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Black Sea 61 had played much better football throughout.
