After a rather tough play, FC Peging's Jacob Otte got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, FC Black Sea 61's goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Otte came free, but Bernd Neuss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Black Sea 61's Daniel Kiefer managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gordon Arnecke in the 27 minute of the game. Morten Trittin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Kiefer, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jürgen Kronenberg got free with Morten Trittin in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacob Otte scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernd Neuss, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Morten Trittin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jürgen Kronenberg's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 59th minute, Jonas Trox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Eicke Stöckle in the 60th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Morten Trittin's left hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jürgen Kronenberg in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Morten Trittin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Stober fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morten Trittin having to interfere. A hard shot 81 in the game by Ernesto Xabier from a close distance when the talented Bernd Neuss managed to make a qualified save. FC Black Sea 61's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jürgen Kronenberg in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Morten Trittin saved FC Peging from getting behind. Christian Stober sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacob Otte was shown his second yellow card after 84 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 89th minute of the match Eric Rolshausen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Morten Trittin skillfully saved the ball. FC Peging's Morten Trittin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Stober in the 90th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Peging had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
