With a left leg Philip Nussbaum saved TSV 1860 München from getting behind. Hernando Weber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Gemar having to interfere. Marius Prestin's late challenge caught a TSV 1860 München's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marius Prestin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to West Staines Massive getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Marius Prestin hit a great ball. Philip Nussbaum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Galvão in the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in TSV 1860 München's zone, Patrick Galvão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Nussbaum came out of the goal and Patrick Galvão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Philip Nussbaum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TSV 1860 München's Philip Nussbaum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Eduino in the 30th minute of play. When Kay Hohlfeld fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TSV 1860 München's protests and gave Kay Hohlfeld a yellow card for diving instead. 34 minutes into the game, West Staines Massive's Michael Weniger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Philip Nussbaum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Jose Eduino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of West Staines Massive booed when TSV 1860 München was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Frei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philip Nussbaum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Galvão's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Galvão in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Nussbaum prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

In the 52nd minute Jose Eduino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Nussbaum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Marx kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Michael Weniger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The West Staines Massive fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Jose Eduino came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the West Staines Massive fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Eduino couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Philip Nussbaum successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 72nd minute, West Staines Massive's Erling Finnman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Erling Finnman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of West Staines Massive protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erling Finnman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 73rd minute, Erling Finnman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, West Staines Massive's Erling Finnman got a free kick in the 74th minute. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Patrick Galvão put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Philip Nussbaum. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jürg Simoneit in the 85th minute of play forced West Staines Massive's goalkeeper Bruno Gemar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind TSV 1860 München's goalkeeper Philip Nussbaum, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. West Staines Massive's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marius Prestin in the 88th minute. West Staines Massive's Marius Prestin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Philip Nussbaum in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bruno Gemar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egidio Iggelheimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, TSV 1860 München's goalkeeper Philip Nussbaum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Galvão. After 93 minutes TSV 1860 München's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marius Prestin who took care of the corner kick. West Staines Massive's Marius Prestin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Philip Nussbaum in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Egidio Iggelheimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The TSV 1860 München supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching West Staines Massive's performance. The match ended with a win for West Staines Massive.
