The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sid Schätzle showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wigalf Banzmeier came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sid Schätzle could save by the left post. Nerreth FC's Sid Schätzle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Nerreth FC from getting a goal against them. Enno Schinner's late challenge caught a Pharos Alexandria F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enno Schinner helped the player get up and apologised. Enno Schinner hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Sid Schätzle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralph Olano de, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pharos Alexandria F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maik Chakravorty in the 23rd minute. After taking down the ball on Pharos Alexandria F.C.'s corner Maik Chakravorty fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sid Schätzle quite easily take care of the ball. Sid Schätzle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ralph Olano de in the 27th minute of play. Leonardo Piorno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sid Schätzle having to interfere. Nerreth FC's Sid Schätzle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Olano de in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Nerreth FC's Sid Schätzle got control of the ball when Wigalf Banzmeier tried to sneak it across the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, one of Nerreth FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Sid Schätzle, was totally fooled by Pharos Alexandria F.C.'s Maik Chakravorty, who 43 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Sid Schätzle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 75 minutes, Leonardo Piorno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pharos Alexandria F.C. and the Nerreth FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nerreth FC made a substitution. Monty Bohn replaced Heiner Busch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 74th minute of the game. One of Pharos Alexandria F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nerreth FC:s goal. 79 minutes into the match, Nerreth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ralph Olano de came free, but Sid Schätzle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralph Olano de in the 81st minute of play forced Nerreth FC's goalkeeper Sid Schätzle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 99 played minutes Pharos Alexandria F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Piorno. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pharos Alexandria F.C. had played much better football throughout.
