Heiko Merkel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Issa Casillas made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Outer Space FC's Thom Moxon got a free kick in the 27th minute. Rudolf Dörr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Hägele in the 28th minute of play. Outer Space FC's Alexandro Beltrán was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Issa Casillas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Issa Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandro Beltrán in the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 92 minutes, Harald Brachvogel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Selb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harald Brachvogel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Outer Space FC fully deserved thier win.
