The audience was convinced that Eckehard Deckert's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bastian Hoeber was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Herminio Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niko Schmitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrad Furesi in the 39th minute of play forced FC Büdlich-Breit's goalkeeper Bastian Hoeber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Büdlich-Breit played a much better game than Odeweg FSV and deserved their victory. The Odeweg FSV players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
