In the 8th minute, Şimşek Rotin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Alvise Castellani made a precise shot to the right of Rafal Olchawa. F.C COSMOPOLITAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Jurek Schumacher put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Midgard fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! With a little luck, F.C COSMOPOLITAN's Rafal Olchawa got control of the ball when Claus Holsing tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26th minute, FC Midgard's Eugen Schwarze dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Midgard's zone, Armin Wedel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pontus Blom came out of the goal and Armin Wedel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Achim Darmstadt hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute of the match, Alvise Castellani tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rafal Olchawa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Şimşek Rotin's late challenge caught a FC Midgard's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şimşek Rotin helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes F.C COSMOPOLITAN got a freekick which was hit by Şimşek Rotin. With a little luck, F.C COSMOPOLITAN's Rafal Olchawa got control of the ball when Eugen Schwarze tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armin Wedel in the 44th minute of play forced FC Midgard's goalkeeper Pontus Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Armin Wedel to make the kick off. If Alvise Castellani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şimşek David spun around in front of the goal 55 minutes in the game and got away a good shot, but Pontus Blom grabbed the ball before it went up in top right corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Schwarze in the 61st minute of play forced F.C COSMOPOLITAN's goalkeeper Rafal Olchawa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Edmond Gaitanzis put in a rough tackle. A collision led to F.C COSMOPOLITAN getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. FC Midgard's Harald Potulski was substituted for Alvise Castellani. After 67 played minutes F.C COSMOPOLITAN got a freekick which was hit by Bodo Jensen. Eugen Schwarze blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafal Olchawa having to make a save. Rafal Olchawa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Potulski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 minutes, Harald Potulski made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. F.C COSMOPOLITAN's Rafal Olchawa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 82 minutes into the match, F.C COSMOPOLITAN's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Schwarze came free, but Rafal Olchawa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafal Olchawa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Potulski, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. F.C COSMOPOLITAN's Rafal Olchawa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Potulski in the 86th minute of play. Pontus Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şimşek Rotin in the 87th minute of play. Rafal Olchawa came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Midgard's Harald Potulski. But to his dismay, Harald Potulski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 92nd minute Harald Potulski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Olchawa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Midgard fully deserved thier win.
