Hanjo Cyrkel started the match with the kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Borussia Ostermoordorf's Hanjo Cyrkel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aimé Holtmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by 许默平 in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Temeswar Banat's Benigno Osmundo. 19 minutes into the match, Borussia Ostermoordorf's goal looked a bit too open when Trendafil Dzhendov came free, but Burkhard Kofler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Temeswar Banat's attentive Benigno Osmundo managed to snatch the ball when Tino von Fraunhofen made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. Aimé Holtmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hanjo Cyrkel, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Adrian Neubauer scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Burkhard Kofler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Temeswar Banat's Aimé Holtmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Jensen in the 28th minute of play. Victor Jensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aimé Holtmann having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Neubauer in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Burkhard Kofler saved Borussia Ostermoordorf from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalkeeper Burkhard Kofler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Neubauer. FC Temeswar Banat's Benigno Osmundo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by 许默平, made in the 40th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Agapito Diaz took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Burkhard Kofler to make any attempt to save it. 46 minutes into the game, Borussia Ostermoordorf's Victor Jensen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aimé Holtmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

A collision led to Borussia Ostermoordorf getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Tino von Fraunhofen hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Victor Jensen notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Temeswar Banat's Aimé Holtmann. Aimé Holtmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Burkhard Kofler came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Temeswar Banat's Adrian Neubauer. But to his dismay, Adrian Neubauer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Burkhard Kofler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Neubauer, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Hanjo Cyrkel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 minutes of play, FC Temeswar Banat's Adrian Neubauer made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Burkhard Kofler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Burkhard Kofler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Neubauer's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Aimé Holtmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hanjo Cyrkel in the 75th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Igor Bialakowski heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agapito Diaz in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Burkhard Kofler saved Borussia Ostermoordorf from getting behind. Aimé Holtmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Jensen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burkhard Kofler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agapito Diaz in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match FC Temeswar Banat got a corner. Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adrian Neubauer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aimé Holtmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hanjo Cyrkel in the 88th minute of play. Burkhard Kofler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Neubauer in the 91st minute of play. Aimé Holtmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hanjo Cyrkel in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Temeswar Banat fans cheered their team off the field, for while Borussia Ostermoordorf had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
