The TSV Trudering fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederick Böhmer should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute Karsten Zentner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Böhmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute of the game Nino Schätzle made a throw-in which Lothar Pfirrmann played forward. Richard Mühsam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dietrich Beuschlein in the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rdth minute of the game Karsten Zentner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TSV Trudering's Frederick Böhmer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the game, FC Germania München's Karsten Zentner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Frederick Böhmer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. FC Germania München's Richard Mühsam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save FC Germania München from getting a goal against them. Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Mühsam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 35thth minute of the game Karsten Zentner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TSV Trudering's Frederick Böhmer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Karsten Zentner blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederick Böhmer having to make a save. Frederick Böhmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karsten Zentner in the 40th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, FC Germania München's goal looked a bit too open when Christof Seubert came free, but Richard Mühsam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dietrich Beuschlein to strike the kick off in the second half. If Karsten Zentner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 51st minute Karsten Zentner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frederick Böhmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederick Böhmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karsten Zentner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bastian Schweinsteiger hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 74th play minute Karsten Zentner came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Frederick Böhmer. 1-5. Karsten Zentner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederick Böhmer having to interfere. The throw-in from Nino Schätzle in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Germania München's Kasper Rechkemmer. Karsten Zentner took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frederick Böhmer. Frederick Böhmer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Nino Schätzle made in the 92nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Germania München's Codrin Peter. TSV Trudering's Frederick Böhmer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save TSV Trudering from getting a goal against them. Codrin Peter hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TSV Trudering's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt-Dieter von Scheliha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Germania München's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
