An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Scholtz in the 5th minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Paul Heyckendorf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Emürspor getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Hubertus Burger hit a great ball. After 8 minutes of play, Academica Pulheim's Maxime Vrints made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ubelteso Fontiveros was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Mansilha in the 10th minute of play forced Emürspor's goalkeeper Ubelteso Fontiveros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Emürspor got a freekick which was hit by Menios Balarinas. Ubelteso Fontiveros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Ahrem, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Emürspor's goal looked a bit too open when Gary Lineker came free, but Ubelteso Fontiveros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubelteso Fontiveros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Mansilha in the 18th minute of play. Josip Schlebusch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Heyckendorf having to interfere. Ubelteso Fontiveros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Ahrem in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Kurt Ahrem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubelteso Fontiveros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Alex Mansilha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ubelteso Fontiveros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Paul Heyckendorf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Kurt Ahrem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academica Pulheim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Maxime Vrints's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubelteso Fontiveros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After 37 minutes Emürspor's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alex Mansilha who took care of the corner kick. 38 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Paul Heyckendorf had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Josip Schlebusch. In the 40th minute, Maxime Vrints left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academica Pulheim fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Ole Pankok hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Simon Beuke hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josip Schlebusch got free with Paul Heyckendorf in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Alex Mansilha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Ubelteso Fontiveros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Linus Scholtz in the 54th minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Paul Heyckendorf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Heyckendorf came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Emürspor's Linus Scholtz. But to his dismay, Linus Scholtz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Academica Pulheim's Lutz Golke was substituted for Maxime Vrints. In the 62nd minute of the match, Lutz Golke tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ubelteso Fontiveros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 66 minutes, Lutz Golke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academica Pulheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lutz Golke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Emürspor's Ubelteso Fontiveros got control of the ball when Kurt Ahrem tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ubelteso Fontiveros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lutz Golke in the 81st minute. Ubelteso Fontiveros made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Gary Lineker sent off a good shot on target. Ubelteso Fontiveros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Kretschmer in the 83rd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Academica Pulheim's Ubelteso Fontiveros threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gary Lineker, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alex Mansilha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Ubelteso Fontiveros made a huge save. Emürspor's Ubelteso Fontiveros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lutz Golke in the 93rd minute of play. If Alex Mansilha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Academica Pulheim's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
